Upgrade Your Equipment
Modernize your business hardware and stay ahead of evolving technology requirements.
Outdated hardware slows down your team, introduces security vulnerabilities, and costs your business more in the long run. iWAT LLC helps businesses plan and execute hardware upgrades that keep operations running smoothly, securely, and efficiently.
Windows 11 Upgrade Requirements
With Microsoft ending support for Windows 10 in October 2025, businesses need to prepare for the transition to Windows 11. However, Windows 11 has stricter hardware requirements than its predecessor, meaning many existing machines may not be compatible.
- Processor: 1 GHz or faster with 2 or more cores on a compatible 64-bit processor (8th gen Intel or newer, AMD Ryzen 2000+ series)
- RAM: 4 GB minimum (8 GB or more recommended for business use)
- Storage: 64 GB minimum available space
- TPM: Trusted Platform Module version 2.0 is required
- Secure Boot: UEFI firmware with Secure Boot capability
If your current hardware does not meet these requirements, iWAT can assess your fleet and recommend the most cost-effective path forward — whether that means targeted upgrades or full device replacements.
Hardware Refresh Cycles
Industry best practices recommend replacing business workstations every 3 to 5 years. Servers and network equipment typically have a 5 to 7 year lifecycle. Sticking to a regular hardware refresh cycle helps you avoid unexpected failures, maintain vendor warranty coverage, and take advantage of improved performance and energy efficiency.
iWAT works with your team to develop a hardware lifecycle management plan that spreads costs over time, minimizes disruption, and ensures your technology always supports your business goals.
